The most edible thing you can’t eat.

The French Confection opens with cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon peel — warm and bright, the kind of top notes that make you pay attention before the real indulgence arrives. Amaretto and almond take over the heart: nutty, creamy, unmistakably Parisian. Vanilla and sugar close it out and push the whole thing firmly into dessert territory. You were warned.
